Alumni Benefits

USF Alumni Association

There are no annual fees to be a member of the Alumni Association, we only ask that you take the “Back to the Future” approach. Look back to the education, values, and friendships that characterized your time at USF, and contribute, in whatever way you choose, to assuring that future generations of students will have just as valuable an experience.

Career Support

All USF alumni are welcome to take advantage of the benefits offered by the Academic and Career Development Center. The Center provides direction and assistance for those changing careers, moving up from their present positions, searching for jobs, or considering graduate school. Resume critique, interview coaching, job search resources and referrals, as well as other resources can be found at sf.careers.com.

USF uses Handshake, a software system that connects job seekers with employers. The site not only helps alumni find available jobs, but also helps them network with local companies and other professionals. Student and alumni job seekers can now find more than 250,000 employers including all of the Fortune 500 companies. Create a new account at sf.joinhandshake.com. For more information, contact the Academic and Career Development Center at 260-399-8065 or acdc@sf.edu.

Other career opportunities can be found by joining the USF Alumni Association LinkedIn group, where job positions, helpful career-building articles, and networking tips are posted.

Lee and Jim Vann Library

To obtain a free alumni library card, stop in at the library (located in the Pope John Paul II Center) and fill out an application. As an alumnus, you have borrowing privileges from the Lee and Jim Vann Library.

Meeting Rooms

The USF campus offers many unique meeting rooms that can be used by alumni for business meetings and other approved functions (depending on availability). Alumni receive a 50% discount of the rental fee for use of numerous meeting rooms and buildings.

For more information on holding meetings or conferences on the USF campus, please check out the Event Services website or contact Deb Bragg at 260-399-7700, ext. 6100.

Records

The Office of Alumni Relations at the University of Saint Francis maintains the official roster of all alumni and their addresses. If you would like to update your address, please contact the Office of Alumni Relations at 260-399-8051 or by email at alumni@sf.edu.

Brookside Tours

NOTE: Due to Covid-19, we are currently not offering tours. Brookside is limited to university business only. Thank you for understanding. We look forward to offering tours when it is safe for all.

The University of Saint Francis offers tours of historic Brookside, formerly known as the Bass Mansion.

Guided tours are one hour and elevator access is available. Brookside is a working building on campus, housing 12 offices. Tours cost $10 per person (free to USF alumni, faculty, staff, and students from Jan. – Oct.) and are available by advance reservation only. Requests must be made at least a week in advance. Groups of 10 or fewer can be accommodated on each tour.

There are no tours during the month of November, to accommodate preparations for Christmas in the Castle. During December, there are no private tours of Brookside. The only tours available are unescorted tours during USF’s Christmas in the Castle celebration.

Schedule a Tour: 260-399-8034, brookside@sf.edu, or submit a reservation request.
