The “Saint Francis” magazine is published two times a year and alumni e-newsletters are sent out monthly. If you are not receiving the publications, please contact the Office of Alumni Relations.
Career Outreach Center
All USF alumni are welcome to take advantage of the benefits offered by the university’s Career Outreach Center. The office provides assistance for those who are changing careers, moving up in their present positions, searching for jobs or considering graduate school. Resume critique, interview coaching, job search resources and referrals, and other resources can be found on the Career Outreach Center website. Other career opportunities can be found by joining the USF Alumni Association LinkedIn group, where job positions, helpful career-building articles and networking tips are posted. You will also find the opportunity to network with other USF alumni in the professional world.
The USF campus offers many beautiful and unique meeting rooms that can be used by alumni for business meetings or other approved functions, depending on availability.
Alumni receive a 50 percent discount for use of the following meeting rooms and buildings, which incur a rental fee:
- Brookside (formerly Bass Mansion)
- Campus Ministry building
- Hutzell Athletic Center
- North Campus gymnasium or auditorium
- USF Performing Arts Center
- Alumni and Career Outreach Center
Lee and Jim Vann Library
To obtain a free alumni library card, stop in at the library located in the Pope John Paul II Center and fill out an application. As an alumnus, you have borrowing privileges from the Lee and Jim Vann Library as well as guest access to the library’s computers.
Discount for Second Degree at Master’s Level
Alumni who have received a bachelor or master degree at USF and enroll in one of our master degree programs will automatically receive a substantial tuition discount. The Alumni Second Degree Discount is the tuition rate students are billed, instead of an award applied to the bill through financial aid processing.
